Join us for a special evening with legendary British fashion and textile designer Dame Zandra Rhodes, whose extraordinary career has helped shape the world of fashion for more than five decades.
A true design icon whose creations have been worn by some of the world's most recognisable figures – from Diana, Princess of Wales, to Freddie Mercury, Debbie Harry and Kylie Minogue – Zandra is renowned for her fearless use of colour, bold prints and unmistakable personal style.
In conversation with Anne Davies - BBC East Midlands Today presenter, founder of Fashanne, Fashion Designers of the Future Awards and British fashion industry champion, Zandra will share stories, inspirations and insights from her remarkable creative journey.
Drawing on images from her exhibition at 探花系列's Leicester Gallery, the conversation will explore the ideas, influences and collaborations behind some of her most celebrated creations.
This special event offers a fascinating glimpse into the life and work of one of Britain's most original designers, with an opportunity for guests to put their own questions to Zandra.
Guests are welcome to arrive from 5.30pm, with an opportunity to view Zandra Rhodes exhibits on display in the gallery in the Vijay Patel building before the event begins at 6pm in room 4.05.
The in conversation will end at around 7.15pm and be followed by drinks in the Gallery when guests will also have the opportunity to visit 探花系列 Museum to see Zandra Rhodes exhibits, including garments from her renowned 1983 Mediaeval collection, and also see work by 探花系列 students inspired by her archive, on display at Trinity House.
Bookings will close 1 hour before the event starts.
