We know that balancing both academics and sport can be a challenge at university, and therefore we pride ourselves on developing a support programme that is tailored to each ̽»¨ÏµÁÐ student-athlete. Applications are assessed based on sporting level. There is no cost to take part in this programme.

Eligibility
- Your sport needs to be a BUCS, Olympic, Paralympic or Commonwealth games sport.
- You need to be competing at a high level in your sport – at county level or equivalent within the past 2 years.
- You need to be a ̽»¨ÏµÁÐ student studying at least 60 credits per year.
If you are studying at ̽»¨ÏµÁÐ and are competing at a high level in your sport, we want to support you. . Please be aware the application deadline is Sunday 4 October 2026, however, if suitable applications are submitted applications may be closed sooner.
Our Student-Athlete Programme aims to give opportunities to you if you have commitment and dedication to your sport but don't have the history or experience to qualify for our Talented-Athlete Programme.
